Byron Boots is an assistant professor in the School of Interactive Computing. His research focuses on statistical machine learning, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
Before joining Georgia Tech, Boots was a post-doctoral research associate in the Robotics and State Estimation Lab in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Washington. He received his doctorate in Machine Learning from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University where he was a member of the SELECT Lab directed by Geoff Gordon.
